Ah, my favourite painting! This huge painting probably took me the longest time to paint out of the series. I really took the time to try and get everything right ( normally not my style) and then my lovely father put it through the fireplace. Thankfully it survived with only minor injuries. This is a rather large second portrait of Thom Yorke. Radiohead are the band I would consider my inspiration for painting at all and this was an ode to them, I suppose.

Thom, my favourite painting of all time.

I was obsessed with Radiohead in my early twenties.. I am still a huge fan.. I have never been so happy and so proud of myself as when I finished this piece. It was huge, so huge that my dad accidentally put it through the corner of a fireplace when moving a couch. I think he cried. I was a little mad at him, but look, it ended up being a funny story in the end! It is currently collecting dust under my mothers bed.

These are my favourite kinds of work. I often sit down, especially on airplanes and sketch various people when they have no idea I am drawing them. It is really funny to watch peoples faces when they are completely relaxed watching TV or on their phone. Yes.. I am a stalker..
